Jozankei Yukitoro 2026 FINAL: 1,000 Snow Candles to Color the Winter Scenery
Jozankei, Sapporo's beloved hot spring resort, will host the final run of its popular winter event, "Yukitoro" (Snow Light Path), in its current format in 2026. The venue, Jozankei Shrine and its surroundings, will be lined with approximately 1,000 snow candles, casting a gentle, warm glow over the snow-covered valley. This quiet, magical scenery, which can only be experienced in the crisp winter air, is sure to gently embrace the hearts of all who visit.
Deeper within the snow candle area, you'll find the "Forest of Prayer," a space where nature and digital art merge, featuring expressions of mystical animals dwelling in the snowy landscapes and trees. During the event, the "Yukitoro CAMP Fes" will also be held, offering a bonfire experience and warm food to warm you up. Why not spend a special winter evening in Jozankei, marking the end of this event's 15-year history?

The 20th Anniversary Gintama Exhibition: A Coming-of-Age Party Celebrating 20 Years with Fans
"Gintama," which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump," boasts a strong fan base even after its conclusion. To celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023, an exhibition is being held to go all out and celebrate with the fans. The event will feature original handwritten manuscripts by the author, Hideaki Sorachi, as well as displays and photo spots where you can experience the world of the series. With exclusive items like visitor bonuses and tickets with merchandise, this exhibition is recommended not only for long-time fans but also for those who discovered "Gintama" through the anime or movies.
