Pingu is coming to a Sapporo aquarium! Enjoy the aquarium with Pingu at "PINGU™ × AOAO SAPPORO SWEET AQUARIUM: Winter's Love-Filled Aquarium"
Sapporo's urban aquarium, AOAO SAPPORO, is hosting a special exhibition in collaboration with the globally popular character Pingu. Timed with the winter mating season of the Northern rockhopper penguins, this event introduces the ecology of living creatures under the theme of "love."

The exhibition is filled with displays that let you enjoy observing creatures alongside Pingu and his world. There's also a stamp rally where you can learn as you explore the aquarium, and a meet-and-greet event where you can take photos with Pingu. Additionally, collaboration food and exclusive merchandise will be available.

Perfect for White Day! A fantastical illumination of light and flowers: "Shiroi Koibito Park Sweet Illumination 2025 ~Blooming Snow Fantasy~"
At Shiroi Koibito Park, one of Sapporo's premier tourist spots, a magical illumination event is currently underway. In line with this year's theme, "Blooming Snow Fantasy," fantastical illuminations featuring white bells and flowers adorn the courtyard, creating a romantic world of light.

The Star London Bus, decorated with illuminations, also makes an appearance
In the newly established "Sweet Flower Area," you can experience a magical space filled with glowing flowers and a scent that makes you feel like you're in a flower field. Furthermore, there are plenty of photo spots, including a large bell that shines in rainbow colors and a tunnel of light. Limited-edition menu items, such as soft-serve ice cream with toppings inspired by the illuminations and Shiroi Koibito nama chocolate sandwiches, will also be available.

Sapporo-exclusive merchandise available! A special event celebrating PEANUTS' 75th anniversary: "Snoopy Festival
This event celebrates the 75th anniversary of the PEANUTS comic strip. In a pop-art-filled space, a wide array of merchandise featuring Snoopy and his friends will be gathered, including event-exclusive items and pre-sale products that are a must-see. At the Sapporo venue, merchandise with motifs like the Clock Tower and Sapporo Miso Ramen will also be available. Additionally, you can enjoy hands-on activities like workshops to make your own button badges and mirrors.
