1 Pingu is coming to a Sapporo aquarium! Enjoy the aquarium with Pingu at "PINGU™×AOAO SAPPORO SWEET AQUARIUM - Winter's Aquarium of Love"

Sapporo's urban aquarium, AOAO SAPPORO, is hosting a special exhibition in collaboration with the globally popular character "Pingu." Timed with the winter courtship season of the Northern rockhopper penguins, this event introduces the ecology of living creatures under the theme of "love."

The aquarium is filled with exhibits where you can enjoy observing creatures alongside Pingu and his world. There's a stamp rally to learn as you explore the facility, and a meet-and-greet event where you can take photos with Pingu. Additionally, special collaboration food and exclusive merchandise will be available.

2 Perfect for White Day! A fantastical illumination of light and flowers: "Shiroi Koibito Park Sweet Illumination 2025 ~Blooming Snow Fantasy~"

At Shiroi Koibito Park, one of Sapporo's premier tourist spots, a fantastical illumination event is currently underway. In line with this year's theme, "Blooming Snow Fantasy," the courtyard is adorned with enchanting illuminations featuring white bells and flowers, creating a romantic world of light.

In the newly established "Sweet Flower Area," you can experience a magical space filled with glowing flowers and a scent that makes you feel like you're in a flower field. Furthermore, there are plenty of photo opportunities, including a display where a large bell shines in rainbow colors and a tunnel of light. Limited-time menu items, such as soft-serve ice cream with toppings inspired by the illuminations and Shiroi Koibito's raw chocolate sandwiches, will also be available.

This event commemorates the 75th anniversary of the PEANUTS comic strip. A vast collection of merchandise featuring Snoopy and his friends will be gathered in a pop-art space, with a lineup of must-see items including event-exclusives and pre-sale products. At the Sapporo venue, merchandise with motifs like the Sapporo Clock Tower and Sapporo Miso Ramen will also be available.
