Mountains where you can see landscapes that make you feel as if you have landed on Mars. Mount Megumi (Hakodate City)," etc. [Hokkaido Mirai Note (58)
Here are three of the best photos of Hokkaido's beautiful scenery taken and submitted by our readers!
Mt. Megumi (Hakodate City)
Mount Megumi is located at the southeastern tip of the Watashima Peninsula at an elevation of about 600 meters.
Because it is an active volcano, there are few trees, and you can enjoy a view that makes you feel as if you have landed on Mars.
It is also designated as a provincial natural park and is highly recommended.

This is a beautifully captured image of the strength and grandeur of the earth!
Mt. Megumi is an active volcano located at the southeastern tip of the Watashima Peninsula, 618 meters above sea level. The rugged surface of the mountain, which is not usually seen, is impressive.
It takes about one hour to reach the summit from the crater field parking lot!
Sorting potatoes (Taiki Town)
This is a shot of potato sorting at our warehouse in early spring. A scene from the beginning of a farmer's year.

This is an impressive shot of a farmer's hand sorting potatoes for sowing!
It's amazing that the farmer can instantly distinguish between the size and rottenness of the flowing potatoes!
I wonder if the size and shape of the seed potatoes make a difference in how the potatoes turn out.
Higashi Oiwake Signal Station (Anping Town)
This is the Higashi Oiwake signal station in the town of Anping.
This is where I like to go in the spring.
The dirt road that passes between fields is also very relaxing.

This is a shot of the intersection of a road and a railroad track running through a field!
The green of the corn field, the brown of the soil, the blue of the sky, and the yellow and black of the railroad crossing are all in harmony in this wonderful scene.
I would love to drive around Hokkaido, taking pictures as I go, where different crops are planted from year to year, and in the summer they grow and become completely different landscapes!
