Their cute yet powerful appearance is soothing. The mandarin duck chicks in Sapporo, etc. [Hokkaido Mirai Notebook (62)
Here are three of the best photos of Hokkaido's beautiful scenery taken and submitted by our readers!
Mandarin duck chicks (Sapporo)
Mandarin ducks show their cute chicks every year in central Sapporo!
Is it instinct? They seem to be imitating their parents. It is the same in every world.
Parents must set an example and watch over this little life...

This is a very soothing image of a small, cute little bird that looks as if it is about to take flight at any moment.
The male mandarin duck chicks are fluffy and round, but as they grow older, the male becomes more flamboyant for courtship in the fall!
You can look for the mandarin ducks in their gorgeous appearance in the coming season.
Freshly boiled corn (Hatsuyamabetsu Village)
Hokkaido's corn is in season now.

The word "corn" in the contributor's comment gives a sense of Hokkaido's character 🌽.
Corn is called "tokibi", "tokimi", "kibi", "kimi", and so on, depending on the region in Hokkaido.
It is said that the season in Hokkaido lasts until around September, so be sure to try it when it is in season!
Heart-shaped rock pit (Otaru City)
Otaru Shimoakaiwa Mountain Hakuryu Tainai Tour Course.
It is quite an athletic mountain but you can enjoy various rock holes and Otaru blue.
It is hard to find because of the steep and scary climb, but this heart-shaped rock pit is one of my favorite places.

A handsome handsome picture created by nature.
As the name "Shiryu-nai-tour" suggests, climbing Shimoakaiwa-yama (下赤岩山) is a complicated path like going through the body of a dragon.
But there is a tremendous view waiting for you at the end of the climb ⛰ I want to see it!
