Potatoes are one of the representative crops of Hokkaido! It is no exaggeration to say that potatoes are the most representative crop of Hokkaido.
The way to eat potatoes is to put butter or even salted fish on them!
Incidentally, Baron potatoes are said to have originated in Hokkaido. It is said that the name "Baron's potato" came from the name of a potato that was given by a baron.

The Shidemai Bridge is located in Kushiro Port and is said to be one of the three most famous bridges in Hokkaido, and the citizens of Kushiro City participated in its creation from the planning stage.
