Thank you! ______________________________________ In spring, you can see fish drying here and there in the town. Some people even feel that spring has come when they see this sight. This photo is "cold-dried Alaska Pollack". The fish is dried for many days until it becomes crispy and locks in its flavor. The finished product is then beaten hard with a hammer to soften it and eaten. At first glance, it looks like a surprising food. But it has an established reputation as a snack and pastry. Nowadays, the number of dried pollack is decreasing. We must keep these traditions alive and continue to make them an attraction of Rausu... Come and discover the charms of Rausu that are yet to be discovered!
