The annual Hokkaido Gishi Festival, held on December 14, the day the 47 Ako Gishi made their revenge attack, takes place when snow is falling and offers a special atmosphere that cannot be experienced in other regions. It is a traditional event in Sunagawa that attracts many photographers.
