This event will focus on key people in and outside of the Kushiro region to discuss new business models and solutions to issues through the fusion of regional development and technology under the theme "The Future of Japan from the Region - New Industry Created by Technology and Local Resources. -Keynote speech:
Keynote Speech: "The Future of Japan from Local Regions - New Primary Industry Created by Technology and Local Resources
Speakers:
Mr. Kohei Kuroda, President and Representative Director, IMU Co.

Mr. Kuroda will talk about the practice of industrial innovation by combining local resources and technology through the successful case of "Kyokanburi", which was born in the extremely cold region of Shiranuka, where there was no culture of eating yellowtail.

DX: Innovation, Evolution, and On-Site DX by a Long-established Manufacturing Company Challenging the Space Industry

Mr. Hiroshi Habu, President and Representative Director, Kushiro Seisakusho Co.
Kotoe Yotsumiya, Executive Vice President, Joizo Co.

Kushiro Seisakusho, a long-established manufacturing company in Kushiro City, has developed advanced technology and experience in manufacturing sites such as bridges and large tanks. In recent years, the company has leveraged its strengths to enter the space industry as a new challenge. In this presentation, Kushiro Seisakusho will introduce specific examples of how the introduction of DX (Digital Transformation) has enabled the company to improve the efficiency of its worksites and production processes, and to build a foundation for taking on challenges in new industrial fields.
