Overview

The 36th Tancho Festival is expanding in scale! It's been 100 years since the Tancho was rediscovered, so the festival has been scaled up and the festival time has been extended by one hour with the addition of a live performance by "Heat Voice."

In addition to outdoor stalls and food trucks from both inside and outside the village, there will be a "Red-Crane Calling Contest" in which participants will compete in imitating the call of a red-crowned crane, a "Red-Crane Ultra Quiz" that tests participants' basic knowledge about red-crowned cranes as well as deeper specialized knowledge, and a "Red-Crane Cold Endurance Competition" in which participants will compete to see who can stand barefoot on one foot the longest in water filled with snow.

In addition, there are many other events related to the red-crowned cranes, such as a "Red-crowned Crane Arrival Quiz" and a "Snow Treasure Hunt" where you can win luxurious prizes. Come and create special memories with your family and friends on a fun-filled day of exciting events!
