The "Coal, Iron and Port Minecraft Workshop in Akabira" will be held at the Akabira City Coal Mine Heritage Guidance Facility. Let's create the Sumitomo Akabira Coal Mine Shaft Tower, a cultural asset that constitutes the Japan Heritage "Coal, Iron and Port" in the world of Minecraft!

Participants will visit actual cultural properties, learn how they work, and build them in Minecraft. The world they create will be made public, and people all over the world will be able to enjoy "Coal, Iron, and Port". Microsoft Certified Education Fellow Yoshiyasu Kobayashi and students from the Coal, Iron, and Port Project Team at Hokkaido University of Education Iwamizawa Campus will be the instructors.

① Kids slots (8 spots available): 1st to 3rd grade elementary school students. *Parents must accompany their guardians.
Content: We will build tracks and walls inside and outside the shaft tower. (Planned)

②Junior to general category (8 applicants): 4th grade elementary school students to adults *Children may be accompanied by a guardian. If accompanied, they may observe the venue.
Content: Using programming, we will create a mechanism for moving the shaft tower. (Planned)
