*An additional 840 yen will be charged for reserved seats (all seats in the observation car are reserved).
Overview
The Norokko is a tourist train that runs leisurely through the Kushiro Marshland, from Kushiro Station to Toro Station (about 40-50 minutes). From the train window, you can enjoy not only the magnificent scenery of the marshland, but also the meandering Kushiro River, Iwaboki Water Gate, and, if you're lucky, you might even be able to see some wild animals.
The train slowly travels through the natural scenery, stopping at Kushiro-shitsugen Station, Hosooka Station, etc. The train sometimes slows down at scenic spots and there are announcements on board to guide you, so you can fully enjoy the charms of the marshland.
