Hokuto City is a city surrounded by nature, blessed with the sea, mountains, and rivers. However, when you look at the coastline, you can see that a large amount of litter and drifting garbage is washed up, causing environmental deterioration. Therefore, twice a year, in spring and autumn, a "Coastline Clean-up Operation" is carried out. With the full cooperation of the Neighborhood Association Federation, it is carried out by volunteers such as residents and children and students from various schools.
