Overview

Otaru Tanabata Festival ~ A once-yearly festival of thanksgiving love ~. There are lots of events, including light-ups, a beer garden, and a YUKATA contest.

■YUKATA Contest (5th: Children's Division, 6th: Adult Division)
Children's Division: July 5th (Sat) 12:30-14:00 (for elementary school students and younger / accompanied by a parent/guardian) Winner's prize: Toy voucher worth 30,000 yen
Adult Division: Sunday, July 6th, 12:30-14:00: Winner's prize: Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise 2 nights, 3 days, accommodation for 2 people, travel voucher
*Registration for both the children's and adult divisions is from 11:00 to 12:30
■Tanabata☆Dream Bingo (2 days event, bingo tickets 300 yen each) Both days 16:00-19:00
・First day special prize: Ashibetsu Onsen Starlight Hotel accommodation voucher for two
・Second day special prize: Tokyo Disney Resort 2-night, 3-day stay for two
■ Yosakoi KIDS & Otaru University of Commerce Shorakumai Both days 12:00-12:30
■Takashima Echigo Bon Odori Both days 19:00-20:00
Other events include a Tanabata candy throwing event and a Ushio Taiko Caravan.
