The Fish with Closed Eyes
–Seeing/not seeing, the limits of perception, the feeling of silence–
A fish with its eyes closed can be intuitively perceived as "a being that has given up on seeing" or "a being that senses the invisible world." Fish that live in water do not normally close their eyes, but by closing their eyes, one can imagine that their way of contacting the world shifts from sight to other senses. In this exhibition, Kazama Tenshin, Kamitouno Bin, and Matsuri Taro will present works that explore the boundaries of perception and the depths of human consciousness with themes such as "the invisible," "unconscious senses," "conscious coincidences," and "voices in silence." This is a place where the three artists express the act of "seeing the invisible" through their own sensibilities and experiences.
