The Shibetsu Town Festival "Water Kirari" will be held on Sunday, August 3rd at Salmon Park Square. In order to nurture and pass on to the next generation the wonderful traditions, culture and rich nature of the town, the town will have a ceremony to unite the townspeople on the theme of protecting and passing on the clear and abundant water that is the symbol of the town, as well as a float parade, stage events, and events for children. There will also be a fireworks display that will light up the night sky, titled "Fantasy of Light and Sound."
