A social experiment planned by students of the "Street Design School @ Sapporo 2025" in collaboration with the local community will be held on Sunday, September 7th.
The setting will be "Clock Tower Nakadori Street," just like last year.
Located right next to Sapporo's iconic Clock Tower, Clock Tower Nakadori is a place that has been cherished and nurtured by local residents. By unearthing the memories that live on this street and its lesser-known charms and culture, and creating a space where pedestrians can stop and interact leisurely, we will create opportunities to rediscover the street's charm and open up new possibilities for the street.

The concept of this social experiment is "excavation and development."

○ Stay and exchange space 12:00-19:00
Artificial turf and street furniture will be installed on the road, creating a free space where people can relax and interact with the locals. There will be a variety of attractions, including a book exhibition and street Othello. After sunset, lighting will be used for a special effect.

○ Mariya Handicraft Shop Thread Spinning Workshop 12:00-18:00
A handicraft workshop will be held at the entrance of Mariya Handicraft Store, and anyone can participate. Why not experience the warmth of thread and the charm of Mariya Handicraft Store through the experience of spinning thread?
