Daimaru Sapporo will be hosting the "Hyakka Festival." In 2025, the entire store will be used as a stage to showcase the stories of "people who will color the future" (commonly known as "Hyakka no Hito") active throughout Hokkaido, as well as five newly emerging talents. In addition to looking back on the careers of 18 "Hyakka no Hito" who have been interviewed extensively through archive exhibits, the event will also create a place for "encounters" through a variety of experiences and exhibits, including craftsmanship, food, art, fashion, and video.
