Overview

The Sapporo Art Stage, which colors the autumn of the creative city of Sapporo, will open again this year. Launched in 2005, this event has provided a place for citizens to experience a wide variety of art as a "gateway to art." Now in its 21st year, the event will feature a wide range of genres, including music, fine art, theater, and dance. A diverse program will be held in various locations around the city, centered around the underground pedestrian space in front of the station (Chi-Ka-Ho) and the Sapporo Cultural Arts Community Center (SCARTS).

In the music category, there will be the "SAPPORO MUSIC SHOWCASE" and the "Sapporo School Music Festival," while in the art category there will be the "University Student ART Competition," "Borderless Art," and "SCHOOL ART LIVE." In the dance category, which was newly established last year, there will also be the "Sapporo High School Dance Battle," a fierce battle between high school students. For a month, the city of Sapporo will be filled with art, and you can enjoy a time that stimulates your senses.
