Trams are extremely resistant to snow and are an essential form of transportation for Sapporo residents and tourists in the winter. This time, with "Snow Country" as the keyword, a diverse panel will give talks on topics such as innovative ways to operate trains in snowy regions, and ways to improve the appeal of the city center through vehicle and city design that makes use of snow and related characters. We hope to deepen your understanding of why trams are such an important asset to Sapporo.
