Streetcars are extremely strong against snow, and have become an indispensable means of transportation for Sapporo's citizen life and tourism in winter. Therefore, this time, with "Snow Country" as the keyword, diverse panelists will give lectures on topics such as ingenuity in tram operation in snowfall areas, and improving the attractiveness of city centers through vehicle design and city design utilizing snow and related characters. I hope that understanding will be deepened as to why the city tram is a precious asset for Sapporo.
