Kimono Photo Contest Support Project Vol. 2 "A Summer Day Spent in a Yukata"



Following the popular "A Day in a Meiji Era Western-style Building in a Kimono" in May, we are holding the second installment of our Kimono Photo Contest Support Project, a yukata dressing and photoshoot event.





【What to Bring】
Yukata, obi (sash), 3 koshihimo (waist ties), datejime (under-sash), obi-ita (stiffener board), 3 towels, footwear

*Please bring your own complete yukata set.
*Dressing is done one person at a time (takes about 20 minutes).
*You may have to wait during busy times.



Yukata Sales

・Geta (sandals), obi decorations, Japanese-style accessories, etc.



*Dressing is free if you purchase a yukata.



About Dressing Reservations

We also accept reservations for dressing at your desired time.

*Yukata rentals are not available.



Professional Photoshoot

Includes: 10 photo cuts

A professional photographer will capture you in your yukata this summer in the special space of an Important Cultural Property.

The photos will be delivered to you as data via email or LINE from the photographer at a later date.

It is also possible to use only the photoshoot service. You can also use these photos to enter the Former Nippon Yusen Kaisha Otaru Branch "Kimono Photo Contest".
