This observation deck is located along gravel road No. 1060, which crosses the Kushiro Marshland. During the drive to the observatory, the meandering Kushiro River is close by, and it is easy to encounter Ezo sika deer and wild birds, giving you a sense of adventure. As you climb the stairs to the higher ground, you will see a marshland landscape with spring water and a pristine appearance, and wild animals may come to play.
Road 1060 is closed during the winter and will not be available until early April.
