Hokkaido Coca-Cola Bottling Sapporo Plant
The manufacturing base for Coca-Cola products in Hokkaido, the company's own plant with the largest warehouse in Japan.
The plant manufactures most of the Coca-Cola products distributed in Hokkaido, including its main product, Coca-Cola. The "Plant Tour" allows visitors to see the process of filling aluminum cans with coffee, tea, and other beverages from an aisle. The "3-D Automated Warehouse" is particularly impressive. It is one of the largest Coca-Cola plants in Japan, with a height of approximately 31 meters and 20,000 shelves, and visitors can see through glass windows the dynamic process of how products are automatically transported and shipped from the production line. During the 60-minute tour, visitors can learn about the history of Coca-Cola as well as the state-of-the-art facilities. At the end of the tour, visitors can sample nostalgic bottles of Coca-Cola and Hokkaido's limited edition products.
