Akaiwa Falls
Overview
Akaiwa Falls, located in the upper reaches of the Koubu River, is not very high at about 8 meters, but for 7 to 80 meters downstream from the waterfall basin, the riverbed is covered with brick-red soft rock, and the sight of the bright auburn color in the sunlight through the trees with the white splashes of the falls and surrounding greenery is fantastic.
