Kuroiwa Falls
Overview
Kuroiwa Falls, located further upstream than Akaiwa Falls, is an unexplored area that even locals have not visited very often. Thanks to the construction of a walking trail by the Western Forest Office, anyone can easily visit the falls. The waterfall, cascading through a primeval forest of Ezo spruce, is reminiscent of a Japanese garden.
