This riverside forest is located near the urban area between the Ishikari and Shinotsu Rivers along Route 275.
It is a large natural riverside forest. In addition to the Japanese elm and Japanese white elm trees, it is a treasure trove of wild birds and small animals, and is designated as an environmental green space protection area in Hokkaido.
Visitors are free to explore the riverside forest at any time, but we ask that groups contact us in advance.
