Oyako Kuma Iwa <Hiyama Michiroku Nature Park>
Oyako Kuma Iwa is a symbol of Setna. The silhouette of the rock, which looks as if a parent bear is holding a drowning bear in its arms as if to save it, is so well done that it is hard to believe that it is a product of nature. The contrast between the rock and the setting sun on the Sea of Japan makes it a popular photo spot. Located on the "Nagiso Coast," it is definitely worth a visit on a drive. The famous confectionary "Oyako Kuma Yokan" named after the rock can be purchased at "Roadside Station Tekkirando Taisei" near the strange rock and other places. It is recommended as a souvenir when you stop by.
