Abashiri Municipal Museum of Art
Collects and exhibits works by local artists
The museum collects and exhibits works by Abashiri-born artists such as Kaichi Ikushi and Michio Takahashi. The original landscapes of Okhotsk are majestically depicted on canvas. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum frequently holds special exhibitions, making it one of the few municipal art museums in Hokkaido that you should not miss.
