Abashiri Drift Ice Sightseeing Icebreaker Orola
Cruising the miraculous and spectacular "drift ice" in the Sea of Okhotsk!
Drift ice is born on the northern coast of the Sea of Okhotsk and is carried by wind and ocean currents as it grows and reaches the coast of Hokkaido and the east coast of Hokkaido. On some days, you will be able to see a rare view of the sea covered in white, while on other days, depending on weather conditions, the drift ice may drift far out to sea! You can experience the power and excitement of the ice floes from close by aboard the Orora.
