Shigenai Shrine is located in the Shigenai area of Shiriuchi Town. Behind its main hall, a long, straight staircase of 200 steps extends upwards. From the shrine building at the top, you can see a view of the staircase you have climbed and the road beyond it, stretching in a straight line to the sea.

Additionally, next to it is the Shigenai Observatory. From there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Shigenai Plain and the Tsugaru Strait. In the spring, you can see a grand panorama centered on a row of about 500 cherry trees in full bloom lining a straight road of approximately 3 km.
