Cape Yakoshi, located at the southern tip of Chonai Town, is designated as "Matsumae-Yakoshi Provincial Natural Park." The coastline between Wakumoto and Yakoshi is spectacular with a series of oddly shaped and named rocks, including Ikarikai Island, Snake-Nose Rock, Kitsukoshi Cape, Namako Cape and Sarunin Rock.

The rugged coastline of inhospitable nature is called the unexplored region of southern Hokkaido, and a boat tour in particular offers a magnificent panoramic view.

The "Blue Cave" is located on the Iwabe Coast of Fukushima Town, beyond Cape Yagoshi.
Cruise boats are available only during the summer season, and visitors can enter the "Blue Cave" and experience the mysterious blue world.
