SPOT
Kaitakukai Memorial Park
This park was established in Kakuda, where Rintaro Izumi, the founder of the Kuriyama pioneer town, took his first steps. Visitors can relive the pioneering days of the town by walking around the "pioneer seeds" and other objects. The Kaitakai Memorial Hall, Izumi Memorial Hall, and other exhibits and historical buildings are located in close proximity to the park, making it a historical spot that brings back memories of the pioneering days of Kuriyama.
