Kutchan Local Culture Museum
Kuchan Fudokan is a comprehensive museum that opened in 2002 (Heisei 14 year) for the purpose of having (visitors) deepen their understanding about the nature and history of the Kuchan surrounding area.
Exhibition area is composed of two fields, and in the 'Nature Exhibition,' it introduces about the nature of Mt. Yotei, the Niseko mountain range, and the foothill region, and in the 'History Exhibition,' it introduces about the history and people's lives from the prehistoric era to the pioneering period, and then up to the present.
