Asahidake Onsen is located at an elevation of 1,100 meters above sea level, with the Asahidake ropeway at its terminus. The Asahidake Visitor Center, which provides information on mountain climbing and outdoor activities, is located 100 meters from the ropeway base station and provides information on weather and nature around Asahidake.

Asahidake Onsen is about 30 km from the center of Higashikawa Town, and if you are driving, you can use the public parking lot in front of the Asahidake Visitor Center and three other parking lots.
