SPOT
A ski resort that boasts a location overlooking the Obira town area and the Sea of Japan right below one's eyes. The slopes of good quality snow can be sufficiently enjoyed by beginners, families, and advanced users. Snowboarding is also OK. Obira Town is also thriving in competitive skiing, and Mr. Masashi Abe, a Nordic combined team gold medalist at the Lillehammer Winter Olympics, and Mr. Yasuyuki Takishita, a Japan national representative for Alpine skiing competition at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, are also from Obira Town.
※ One pair lift (total length 500m), inside the lodge there are a shop and a dining hall.
