Obira Town Boyodai Ski Resort
This ski resort boasts a location overlooking Kodaira city and the Sea of Japan. The slopes, with their high-quality snow, are enjoyable for everyone from beginners to families and advanced skiers. Snowboarding is also allowed. Competitive skiing is also popular in Kodaira, and Masashi Abe, a gold medalist in the Nordic combined team event at the Lillehammer Winter Olympics, and Yasuyuki Takishita, a member of the Japanese alpine team at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, are both natives of Kodaira.
*There is one pair lift (total length 500m), and the lodge has a shop and restaurant.
