Roadside Station Biei "Oka no Kura"
Overview
This roadside station is located a 3-minute walk from JR Biei Station. It was renovated from a grain warehouse made of Biei soft stone built in the early Taisho period, and the interior is made of Biei larch. Inside the building, you can find attractive souvenirs that can only be found here, including "Komugi Shokudo," which serves the new local gourmet food of Biei curry udon, and woodwork and pottery made by artists with studios in the town.
