This scenic spot is located about 10 km deep in the Ariake district in the southern part of Hatsuyamabetsu Village, where visitors can enjoy a quiet forest bath. About 1,200 cherry trees are planted along the road from the national highway to Higashiyama Jyuen, and visitors can drive through the rows of cherry trees during the blooming season around May. A banner reading "Cherry Blossom Road" is placed at the entrance from the national highway to catch the attention of passing drivers. In the past, a "Cherry Blossom Festival" was held in conjunction with the cherry blossom season.
