HAKODATE GOURMET PORT

Hakodate Gourmet Port, the first food court since the airport opened in 1961, will open on the third floor of the domestic passenger terminal building at Hakodate Airport. The concept is to "collect the unique qualities of Hakodate, the charm of southern Hokkaido itself as the 'brightness of the region' and spread it throughout the country and the world."

Méli Méloken, a curry restaurant produced by Méli Mélo, a popular Sapporo creative cuisine restaurant run by a Michelin-starred chef from Hakodate, will open its first store in the Southern Hokkaido area. In addition, Matsukasa, a famous ramen restaurant from Nanae Town, and Hikoma Pork Kitchen, a famous pork restaurant using high-quality SPF pork raised at the Southern Hokkaido Agro Farm in Mori Town, will open their first store in Hakodate. Five popular stores that offer special menus using local ingredients from the Hakodate and Southern Hokkaido areas will be gathering together.
