SPOT
HAKODATE GOURMET PORT
The food court 'HAKODATE GOURMET PORT' will open on the 3rd floor of the Hakodate Airport Domestic Passenger Terminal Building, the first since the airport opened in 1961. The concept is 'to gather the essence of Hakodate, what is unique to Hakodate, and the charm of Southern Hokkaido as the "radiance of the region," and to share it with the nation and the world.'
Five popular restaurants, offering special menus that make use of local ingredients from the Hakodate and Southern Hokkaido area, will be gathered here. These include the first opening in the Southern Hokkaido area for 'méli mélo-ken,' a curry restaurant produced by 'méli mélo,' a popular creative cuisine restaurant in Sapporo run by a Michelin-starred chef from Hakodate. Also making their Hakodate debut are 'Matsukasa,' a famous ramen shop from Nanae Town, and 'Hikoma Pork KITCHEN,' a renowned restaurant for pork dishes using high-quality SPF pork raised at the Donan Agro Farm in Mori Town.
