An observatory overlooking the Sea of Japan in Oyufuyu, once called an isolated island on land

When coming from Sapporo on Route 231, "Oyufuyu" is the entrance to Masugae. It was once called an isolated island on land. This 135-meter-high observatory offers views of the sheer cliffs of the Yuudai Coast, the Shakotan Peninsula, and Amauri Island in the distance.
