SPOT
Golden Byobu
Golden Byobu is located between Cape Earth and Tokkarisho. The name "Kinbyobu" comes from the reddish-brown color of the cliffs, which look like a golden folding screen when the morning sun shines on them.
The silver folding screen is called "chinuye pila" (carved cliff) in Ainu language, and refers to the entire cliff between Halkalamoi and Ebisu Island. The name "silver folding screen" comes from the silver glow of the setting sun on this cliff.
Both Kinbyobu of the morning sun and Ginbyobu of the evening sun are the eight best views of Muroran seen from the sea.
