Masuichi Beach
The word "Masuichi" comes from the Ainu word "masui chise" (house of plumage). The name came from the fact that many sea cucumbers used to nest here. Nearby are candle-shaped rocks, a row of seagull rocks, and a rock that resembles a reclining elephant, commonly known as "Zo-iwa (Elephant Rock). Komagatake across Eruption Bay.
On January 24, 2012, the area was designated as a national scenic spot as the "Outer Coast of Pirikanoka Eto Tomo Peninsula.
