SPOT
Harkaramoi
Harkaramoi is a series of cliffs with a silver screen. If you look down the U-shaped cliff, you will see what looks like a beach. The cliffs are eerily open with numerous caves, called "ahunruparo" (the mouth of the road) in the Ainu language, reminding one of a road to the other side from which there is no return. The view of Ahunleparo can only be seen from the sea.
There is a viewing point, but it is best to see it from a boat on an open-sea excursion.
