Nozuka Observatory
Located on the ocean side along Route 108, the observatory is marked by a monument in honor of Ranald MacDonald, Japan's first English teacher and the founder of Japan's modernization. It offers an exhilarating view of Cape Peshi and Oshidomari Port beyond the azure sea, and Rebun Island beyond. The Nozuka Bicycle Parking Park across the road is also the starting point of the "Rishiri Island Cycling Road" and one of the best spots to view Mt. The park has a monument to Rishiri Island and public restrooms.
