Overview
A large colony of Ezo kanzo, which blooms from late June to mid-July. A promenade leads from the parking lot to an elevated viewing platform toward the sea. There is a pavilion along the way, from which you can get a close-up view of Ponmoshiri Island, where a colony of petrels live in groups. Summer is the season for sea birds to raise their young. Bring binoculars and enjoy bird watching. The observatory at the top of the hill behind the pavilion offers a 360-degree view.
