SPOT
Furusato Forest Forest Park Campground
The Furusato Forest Park Campground is so quiet that it is hard to believe it is in the city center. There are three simple bungalows, each with a loft. Bungalow users have their own parking space where they can lay their cars next to the bungalows, making it convenient for loading and unloading luggage or going out.
Tent sites are spread out on flat lawns, and can be set up anywhere within the lawn. (There is no charge for tent sites and no reservation is required, so you can check in and check out at your leisure, whether for a day trip or overnight stay.)
Nearby is the "Kanada Shinzo Calligraphy Museum," which houses calligraphy and ceramics by Horonobe's own calligrapher, "Shinzo Kanada," as well as a coffee shop on the first floor.
