Furusato no Mori Forest Park Campsite
Overview
Furusato no Mori Forest Park Campground has a quiet atmosphere that makes it hard to believe it's in the city. There are three simple bungalows, each with a loft. Bungalow guests have a dedicated parking space where they can park their car next to the bungalow, making it convenient for loading and unloading luggage and going out.
The tent site is a flat expanse of grass, and you can set up camp anywhere on the grass. (The tent site is free and no reservation is required, so you can check in and out freely whether you are visiting for the day or staying overnight.)
Nearby is the Kaneda Shinso Calligraphy Museum, which houses calligraphy works and pottery by the Horonobe-born calligrapher Kaneda Shinso, and there is also a cafe corner on the first floor.
