Horoshiri-dake
Poroshiri means "big mountain" in Ainu language and is the highest peak (2,052m) in the Hidaka Mountains.
It is selected as one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan, and is said to be a medium to high mountain with a steep slope. From the summit, you can see the Nanatsunuma Curl, which was formed during the Ice Age, as well as Mount Hyoma-Akan and Mount Tokachi, offering views that can only be experienced by those who have climbed the mountain.
