Lake Tobuto Wooden Path
Overview
Completed in 2016, this wooden path allows visitors to get up close and personal with wild flowers and birds that grow in the area surrounding Lake Tobuto, a Ramsar Convention-listed wetland.
From spring to fall, the lake is filled with a succession of flowers, such as the Japanese iris, the Japanese honeysuckle, and the tachi gibboushi.
From the observation deck, beautiful mountain views of Mount Shari (one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains) and Mount Mokoto (Akan National Park) spread out before your eyes.
