Hamakoshimizu Maehama Campsite
Overview
Maehama Campsite is close to the roadside station Hanayaka Koshimizu and is adjacent to the Furetoi Observatory, which offers views of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Shiretoko mountain range. It is in a great location right in front of the Sea of Okhotsk, and the toilets and kitchen are clean and easy to use.
You can go down to the beach in front of the sea, and although swimming is prohibited, fishing and walking are possible. The JR Senmo Main Line runs nearby, and the sound of the trains passing by is quite charming. Although it does not have the glamor of an auto camping site, there are roadside stations and convenience stores nearby, so you can spend your time here without any inconvenience.
