Kanokosawa
Feel the mystery of nature
Kanokosawa is located about 13 km from downtown Oshido, downstream from Kanoko Dam. The hiking course, which takes about one and a half hour round trip, has been enjoyed by people of all ages throughout the year.
The "Rainbow Falls" and "Itohiki Falls" change their expressions depending on the angle and season.
The "Sanbon Katsura" is one of the 100 largest trees in Japan and is over 200 years old.
The natural odd-shaped rocks such as "Oshibi-iwa," "Unotsuiwa," and "Byobui-iwa" will make anyone feel the mystery of nature.
During the walk, you will see many birds and alpine plants.
The blessed natural environment of Kanokosawa, with its flowing streams and lush trees, must be passed on to the next generation in its present state.
