Forest Experience Exchange Center
Forest Experience Exchange Center, landmarked by an outdoor sculpture of a great blue heron
Triangular-roofed building facing Lake Oketo. The landmark is an outdoor sculpture of a great blue heron about to take flight.
80% of the area of Okito is forest. Visitors can learn about the forest and its relationship with trees through hands-on experience.
Visitors can also see more than 60 species of wild birds that fly to the lake.
The needs for forests are becoming more diverse, and there is a strong demand for facilities for hands-on learning, especially during vacations.
Please use this building constructed in the wonderful landscape of Oketo Lake as a place for recreation, nature observation, rest, and exchange, and learn about the wonders of nature and the importance of forests.
