This is a 512m high mountain located right in the center of Rausu. The local Rausu Alpine Club opened a trail in 2004, making it possible to climb the mountain.
In the Shiretoko Peninsula, which is home to many severe mountains, this is a relatively easy mountain to climb.

It is possible to climb the mountain in summer and, depending on the snowfall, in winter as well.

The scenery is spectacular, with views of Rausu City, Kunashiri Island, and the mountains of Shiretoko.
